EPOCH PRODUCT LINE

Purpose: To create 3 different fabrics for 3 large wall hangings and build a business idea around those fabrics. A full business plan should be written, other products, packaging, promotional material, and business system must also be implemented for the fabric line.

Approach: The idea of “Ancients” was chosen to portray the message “Live. Work. Create.” The fabrics are meant to convey productivity, living in the present, and loving what you do. This theme of time is emphasized utilizing the imagery of fossils. I stuck with earthy colors  contrasted with pastel tones to portray the idea of rocks and delicate fossils. I chose Optima as the dominate typeface since it portrays a sense of geometry yet organicness with it’s slight serifs; similar to some of the fossils. The products are centered around the idea of helping the intellectual creative class with their endevors.
