REPO! POSTCARDS

Purpose: To design a system of three postcards utilizing paper photography to convey themes of a theatrical play in a symbolic way. I chose the play Repo! the Genetic Opera, a future apocalyptic opera where people are in need of body part transplants to survive.

Approach: I went with colors and constructive type similar to those used in the Repo! the Genetic Opera movie. The imagery for the postcards conveys the slash and gash gore of the play as well the trapped feminist themes together in one image.
